Talk to Yourself!
Self-talk is an important part of life, we rely on it to help us perform and focus. There are many thoughts that can go through an our head before, during and after an activity. If you are able to harness these thoughts, an you can become as mentally tough as an athlete.
Be SMART about it
You’ve set a New Year’s Resolution, have you taken any steps towards achieving it? How will you know you’ve achieved it?
The best way to make sure that this occurs is to be SMART about it!
Conquering FEAR
Why is the word "fear" so powerful? It is a small four letter word; you are bigger than it is. Why do we let it control so many of the things that we do?
A large part of this is just because we let it. If you say something often enough, you start to believe it. “I hate spiders” is it because something happened? More often than not it is because you’ve told yourself enough times that you hate spiders and now you do.
