Valhalla Pure Outfitters is having their annual winter rental equipment sale on Saturday, March 24th. A great opportunity to pick up some cross-country skis, snowshoes and avalanche safety equipment. Sale starts at 9:30 am sharp!
The ski season is coming to an end in Central Alberta but Medicine Lodge Ski Club and Canyon Ski Resort are both open this weekend. Canyon is hosting their Slush Cup this Sunday.

Playing in the Snow
We've finally gotten a decent snowfall in Central Alberta but it's not going to be around for long. With warmer temperatures and sunny weather in the forecast we better make the most out of this weekend!

Record Snowfall at Sunshine Village
With 123cm of fresh snow in 5 days this last storm that hit much of Alberta was the largest snowfall at Sunshine Village in 40 years. This brings the total snowfall for the season to 773cm!
Sit Ski Backflip
Josh Dueck story's is truly inspirational. Since recovering from a devastating accident in 2004 that left him as a T11 - full paraplegic he has pushed sit skiing to new levels. First through racing and now as a free skier with the first sit ski backflip on February 3, 2012.
Red Bull Supernatural
Red Bull Supernatural claims to bring 18 of the worlds best backcountry snowboarders to Bald Face in Nelson, BC for a 1 day freestyle competition. They spent the summer building new features and getting the terrain ready. What do you think of events like this?
